General Terms and Conditions for Events
We offer clear and fair rules to ensure your participation with INN.LAW remains straightforward and transparent.
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to the registration and participation in the events (workshops, seminars, webinars, etc.) conducted by us.
2. Copyrights
Our training materials are protected by copyright. The training materials may not be reproduced or distributed in whole or in part. Participants are not allowed to record the event.
3. Confidentiality
Our events are conducted under the Chatham House Rule and are therefore confidential. Participants are free to use the information received on the condition that neither the identity nor the affiliation of speakers or other participants may be disclosed.
4. Data protection
We process personal data of participants for the registration and participation in our trainings. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.
5. Execution
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to insufficient number of participants or if there are reasons beyond our control (e.g. illness of the lecturer, force majeure). In such cases, participants will be notified immediately. Participation fees already paid will be refunded; further claims are expressly excluded.
6. Rebooking and Cancellation
A rebooking or cancellation of event participation is possible free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the event. After that, rebooking or cancellation is no longer possible.
7. Instruction on the Right of Withdrawal
Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of contract conclusion.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Attorney Peter Poleacov, INN.LAW Academy, Am Kaldenberg 3A, 40489 Düsseldorf, Tel.: +49 211 545 703 30, Email: info@inn.law) by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the services during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an amount proportionate to the services provided up to the point at which you notified us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal regarding this contract, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.
